I’m Watching You is a horror screenplay seemlessly adapted to graphic novel format. It centers around a family of four: Claire, Maxwell, Jake, and Maxine and their encounters with a stalker. Inspired by masterpieces like Halloween, our antagonist begins watching and stalking them from a distance, building pace, and progressively moving closer with each arc. In the first issue, the family is sent a poster, with various images of them hurt, sick, or in pain, along with the chilling crimson text: “I SEE YOU…” The family reacts as any family might: questioning what is happening, where the images came from, wondering if it’s a prank or someone on social media, calling the police, and filing a police report. As the series continues, the stalker’s methods become more pronounced. He begins sending texts, and even appearing where they are. And without name, without an address, they find the police are very limited in what they can do.
